The product range of the Westfälische Stahlgesellschaft group of companies incorporates a large number of hot-rolled, cold-drawn, and bright bar steels - steels with and without heat treatment in various dimensions, forms, and specifications. These range from free-cutting steels, roller-bearing steels, high-grade structural steels and tool steels to chromium plated piston rods, profiles, and tubes. Our high quality products are used in an extremely wide range of markets - in the automotive and supplier industry, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering, the hydraulics industry and the production of wind power plants.
Our goal is to define solutions in close collaboration with our customers. This is why we deliver both standardized steel bar and, on request, produce products tailored to our customers’ requirements.
The quality of our range of products and services is rigorously orientated to a “zero-defect strategy”—as can be seen from our customers’ numerous quality awards. The regular certification of our quality management system to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 standards ensures comprehensive process quality.
We have, in addition, a wide range of facilities for non-destructive materials testing using eddy currents and ultrasound, destructive mechanical materials testing and spectral analysis available in-house to ensure the necessary quality of our products. Comprehensive metallographic studies can be carried out too.
